Dianne has always loved reading! Her mom, who is 98 years old, has always enjoyed reading and since Dianne also instilled the love of reading into her children, she feel as if it is a heritage passed down through the generations. She would read to her children every night at bedtime, as well as during the day, and when each was able, she would have them read to her. Dianne’s daughter loves reading and books so much that she is now a Media Specialist Librarian in a public school system and busy earning her Master’s Degree in Library Science.
Dianne lives in Tucson, AZ with her husband, dog named Bentley and Quaker Parrot named Zoey. Her husband recently retired and they plan to purchase an RV and explore their great country, as well as have more freedom to visit their adult children and other family members, most of whom live in different states.
Dianne and her husband met online over 16 years ago, before it became popular to find love online. She lived in Massachusetts and he lived in Arizona. It was quite an endeavor but they got through the transition with a lot of prayers and faith, and recently happily celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary.
Four years ago, Dianne and her husband decided to change their eating habits to include mainly plant based foods. While they do veer off that path, once in a while, for the most part they eat no meat, fish or dairy. It has been an experience that they have enjoyed, although at times it can be challenging.
When not reading, Dianne enjoys doing many things online including researching various ideas or things she reads about, may see in a movie or hear about elsewhere that may interest her. She also likes to crochet, exercise at their local recreational center, spend time with friends, travel and experience new eateries or things to do. She also misses her family members and visits as often as possible, including her 16 year old grandson who lives in New Hampshire.
